Ok here’s your good chance to fly with us to what we consider the African Caribbean. Cape Verde’s deserted sandy island of Sale is a great platform for adventure seekers and those willing to invest time in a clean clear environment.

The 10 volcanic island archipelago is considered a mecca for those whom are into water wind sports. As a gateway to Africa’s west coast winds there strength and force vary seasonally, with better chance having some over the European brutal cold winters.

Sal’s airport is one of the biggest in the island, though not the capital but is the prime destinations for international visitors, Here are some of the must do over your stop there.

1.Santa Maria.

Upon arrival and passport entry stamping, there are 2 options to choose from between, either to go to Santa Maria “Southern part of the island or , just visit the island’s capital city of Espargos.

If you’re a young backpacker, you can walk to Espargos where you could stay there for a day or two or just move directly south to Santa Maria via public transportation as well from Espargos for less than a 1$ ride.

Ok, you’re in Santa Maria, there it’s wise to walk to the nearby beach and pier of Santa Maria, where you could daily find fishermen cutting and organizing their daily ocean catches.

2.Viveiro Botanic Gardens.

A site where Flora and Fauna live together, a great place to walk around with a beloved one “To consider on a cozy day when no water activities are on the schedule”.

3.Salinas de Pedra de Luma.

It’s a MUST if you ever made it to this island to go visit. Ever been to the dead sea ? a place when you could easily float with no tension or willingness for so ? ; Here’s your chance experiencing the same thing in Cape Verde Sal’s Salinas de Pedra, There you can as well do the crazy Bolivia’s Salar de Uyuni pictures.

4.Monte Leão

It’s Cape Verde’s Surf Galaxy if you ever wondered about a place with the genuine waves and no man’s land volcanic landscape, then it the Monte Leão.

5.Monte Grande.

Monte Grande and the surroundings shall be on your topto visit locations as well on the island. Monte Grandeis the island’s highest peak, Hiking it up is agreat idea to have a spectacular overall island view, especially view of the island’s Capital Espargos.
